TOPOĽČIANKY WINERY
The Château Topoľčianky brand represents a winery with a tradition founded in 1933. Today, the company manages more than 550 hectares of exclusive vineyard sites in the Nitra and South Slovakia wine-growing region. Controlled fermentation produces full-bodied and extractive wines that perfectly represent the ‘terroir’ of their origin. A large part of the red wines are aged in classic large wooden barrels and the quality whites are waiting to be filled in stainless steel tanks. Today, the Château Topoľčianky winery is a perfect representative of a sensitively revived tradition that dates back to the first Czechoslovak Republic and, with an annual production of more than six million bottles, ranks among the leaders of wine production in Slovakia.
WINE PD MOJMÍROVCE
Wine was flowing from the southern vineyards of Mojmírovce to Budapest and Esztergom as early as 1290. The foundations of the present winery were laid in 1951. During tastings you can taste varieties such as Veltliner Green, Müller Thurgau, Chardonnay, Riesling, Riesling Riesling, Franconia Blue or Cabernet Sauvignon.
CELLAR RADOŠINA
The history of viticulture and winemaking in Radošina is very rich, with records of viticulture in the area dating back to the 14th century. Viticulture has successfully taken hold in the region and among the successors of these traditions is the agricultural cooperative ‘Radošinka’ personified in the ‘Radošina Winery’.
The current modern winery began to write its history in 2012, the premises of the operation got their present form in 2014 and 2015. The agricultural cooperative “Radošinka” manages 13.8 hectares of vineyards, with the representation of the varieties Pinot Gris, Sauvignon, Devín, Tramín, Frankovka Blue, Svätovavrinecké and Alibernet. The winery has modern technology for processing grapes, with a capacity to produce about 70 thousand litres of wine. There are tasting rooms for 50 people. The pleasant atmosphere of the operation is complemented by a park of linden trees.
Wine Tajná
We are a small boutique winery with an annual production of around 70 000 bottles. We are located in the tiny village of TAJNÁ near Vráblje. The area of our vineyards is 25 HA, where we have planted 13 different varieties. Our vineyard has a unique location and microclimatic conditions and is predisposed to an organic way of growing, which is our main priority.
However, harvesting grapes is really hard work. The grapes at Tajna are harvested entirely by hand. We take loving care of both the vineyard and our customers, to whom we offer a unique opportunity in the form of experiential tastings. There are few projects where a customer can see where the grapes have ripened, the wine has been made and at the same time taste the wine in the same place in the bosom of nature. Our project offers this opportunity to our customers.
Velkeer
Warm summer days, a long growing season and an exceptional soil composition help us at the VELKEER winery to create the most beautiful wines from the slopes of the Nitra hills every year. The winery was founded in 2011, but the history of wine production and viticulture in our family goes back to the distant past. In 2011 they moved from the family cellar to the cellar at Perešek hill, where they currently manage just over 17 hectares of vineyards.
Terra Wylak
Terra Wylak is a modern winery founded in 2015 in the village of Veľké Zálužie. The winery’s philosophy follows the long tradition of wine production in the Nitra region. Terra Wylak wines have won numerous awards at world wine competitions and their quality has appealed to many customers not only in Slovakia. The wines are produced using the most modern technology from hand-picked grapes, aged in two cellars, the tour of which will enchant many a lover of the delicious drink. The winery has a guesthouse with a capacity of 22 beds and a restaurant. The winery offers many possibilities for various family and corporate events. There is a training room with a capacity of 50 people. Two tasting rooms with their atmosphere encourage you to spend pleasant moments with excellent wine. A great advantage is the accessibility and privacy provided by the location of the winery.
Winery Vinoma a cetínska kadarka
VINOMA winery and guesthouse in Veľký Cetín started its activity in 2012. As one of the few in Slovakia, it cultivates the variety of Kadarka – Cetínský bílý in an effort to bring it back to the Slovak winemaking This rare variety is grown in Slovakia only in the vicinity of Veľký Cetín.
BÍRO Winery
A small family winery produces wine from its own vineyards with an area of 4.5 hectares, which are located in the Nitra wine-growing region in the village of Veľké Zálužie. They like to experiment and use modern technological procedures in combination with traditional methods. Currently, two generations are involved in winemaking – father Juraj and son Filip, who was awarded the “Hope of Slovak winemaking for 2018”.
Wine – CHATEAU MALANTA
Chateau Malanta – is a small family winery of two brothers Peter and Jozef from the picturesque village under Zobor, Nitrianske Hrnčiarovce, which belongs to the Nitra wine-growing region.
Behind the birth of the winery hides a long family tradition, where the third generation is already engaged in growing vines, wine production and winemaking to which the current winemakers led especially grandfather.
