The Ponitrie region has 750 kilometres of marked cycle paths and more are added every year. In Nitra you can get almost everywhere. In the direction of Zobor you can also use the cycle bus to take you closer to the cycle paths in the forest. If you’re looking for a straight line, venture along the river and you’ll come across a park, bridges, long avenues and maybe even see a beaver on your trip. The cycle paths in Ponítrie will also lead you to castles and chateaus, for example in the vicinity of Topoľčianok or Mojmírovce.

Extra tip
If you want to save some energy and bike kilometres, you can also use the service of the Nitra city transport. Some marked connections have a cycle carrier at the back and from 5 March 2023 there will also be a specialised cycle bus running seasonally to take you from the Klokočina disctrict to the City Park.
